Our Story

Every day at 3 o'clock, I'd stand at the school gate with that familiar knot in my stomach.

My child would come out, backpack bouncing, shoes probably on the wrong feet and I'd crouch down, look them in the eyes, and ask the question every parent asks.

"How was your day?"

And every day, silence. Not because nothing had happened. Not because they didn't feel things. But because the words just wouldn't come.

My child is non-verbal with complex needs. They experience the world just as deeply as any other child, the joy of a good day, the weight of a hard one, the quiet pride of doing something they couldn't do yesterday. But at that gate, in that moment, there was no way to share it. I'd watch other parents get a jumbled, wonderful, chaotic download of their child's day. And I'd walk home guessing.

Was today good? Did something upset them? Are they proud of something and waiting for me to notice?

I never knew.

That feeling, that daily ache of not knowing, is why MyDay exists.

I started MyDay because I couldn't find anything that bridged that gap. Something simple. Something a small child could use without needing words. Something that said I struggled today or I was so proud of myself without asking my child to do the one thing they find hardest.

So I made it myself.

MyDay stickers are designed for children like mine, non-verbal, limited speech, complex needs, or simply not ready to talk at the end of a long school day. Each pack is built around real moments, real feelings, and the real conversations that SEN families desperately want to have.

Because your child has something to say.
